Job Overview:
- Responsibility for embedded software design for a range of systems in line with project specific requirements and to the correct quality/design standards.
- Deliver cost-effective embedded software designs in-line with budget.
- To ensure innovative embedded software standards are adopted & continuously improved.
- To ensure full compliance with design, quality and Health & Safety Regulations.
The Right Candidate:
- A good understanding of embedded software design including: C/C++, C#, Visual Studio, CE 5.0 & CE 6.0, .NET, MFC, Visual Basic, ARM9, 8051, PIC, X86, SQL, Assembler, RTOS, Linux.
- Fault Analysis, Testing, Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Testing and Commissioning.
- Test procedures and methods, change control and version control.
- 5 years embedded software design experience.
- Education in Software Engineering or related subject to HNC level.
