Our office based from Derby, East Midlands specialises in rail/rolling stock recruitment, we have a vast portfolio of clients in which we're extremely proud of, including industry leaders such as Alstom, Hitachi and Siemens to name only just a few.
The Role
As Recruitment Team Leader, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a successful recruitment team, delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates, and achieving ambitious commercial targets. You'll lead from the front-driving business development, coaching your team, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing recruitment team.
- Drive new business development and identify opportunities for profitable growth within existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and candidates.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs and performance expectations for the team.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals and performance reviews.
- Recruit, train and onboard new team members.
- Support the team in winning, managing and growing key client accounts.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets and gross profit.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments including HR, Payroll, Finance and Credit Control.
About You
You'll be a confident leader with a proven track record in business development, who enjoys motivating others and delivering outstanding results - while recruitment experience would be beneficial, it's certainly not essential.

- Minimum 2 years' experience managing a successful sales team.
- Strong business development and client management experience.
- Track record of delivering revenue and profit targets.
- Experience coaching and developing staff.
