Position Summary: Successful applicants would be responsible for the continuation and improvement of the supply chain relationships within the nominated suppliers to ensure that material is delivered on time and within budgets.
Position Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring of supplier performance.
- Performance reviews with supply chain.
- Monitoring inventory.
- Validation of material demands.
- Expedite material deliveries to ensure OTD targets are met.
- Maintain an inventory database.
- Stock management in line with requirements of production.
- PO and invoicing negotiations.
- Reporting on KPI's.
- Materials control.
Person Profile:
- Supply chain experience is preferred but not essential as you will be working in the Supply Chain team.
- Inventory management experience.
- Good understanding of materials management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of database systems such as SAP.
- Good analytical skills.
- Competent on Excel at Intermediate level.
- Experience of LEAN principles (5's, Kaisen, CI, Visualisation Management).
