Pay Rates:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent): £21.58 PAYE / £25.16 Umbrella
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent): £22.30 PAYE / £29.98 Umbrella

Shifts: Rotating Days & Nights

Duration: Long-Term Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician looking for an exciting opportunity within the Rolling Stock industry? We are recruiting Maintenance Technicians to join a leading rail company based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from Rolling Stock, Aviation, Automotive, HGV, Plant, Marine, PCV, Armed Forces or similar mechanical backgrounds looking to develop their career within one of the UK's most exciting industries. Full training will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity to transition into Rolling Stock.

The Role:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on passenger rail vehicles
  • Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical defects
  • Vehicle inspections and examinations
  • General mechanical maintenance and repair work
  • Completing maintenance documentation and job cards
  • Working safely and following depot procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in a Mechanical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Previous mechanical maintenance experience
  • Ability to work rotating day and night shifts

Shift Pattern:

  • Day Shift: 06:45 - 18:15
  • Night Shift: 18:45 - 06:15

Rotating shift pattern with scheduled rest days included.

Assessment Date: Friday 22nd May
