We are a well-established provider of high-quality MRO services, supporting major airlines and aircraft operators. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a talented Aviation Component Painter to join our dedicated maintenance team.

The Role

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality paint repairs, refinishing, and interior touch-ups across a range of aircraft components. You may also have the opportunity to work off-site during aircraft maintenance activities, supporting Tier 1 airline and MRO customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft component paint repairs, including corrosion treatment, surface preparation, and paint blending
  • Carry out interior paint touch-ups on panels, trims, and fittings
  • Follow technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and detailed work instructions
  • Safely operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns and PPE
  • Ensure all work meets aviation safety regulations and internal quality standards
  • Coordinate with planning and customer MRO teams to deliver work packs on schedule
  • Accurately document all work completed in line with maintenance procedures
  • Ensure all materials are stored correctly and carry appropriate certification

About You

  • Proven experience in aircraft or component painting, refinishing, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of paint systems, application techniques, and surface preparation
  • Familiarity with aerospace safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts, weekends, and overtime
  • Experience working with composite materials is advantageous [Desirable]

Preferred Experience

  • Background in both aircraft and component painting
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at height when required
  • Knowledge of corrosion control and composite surface preparation
