We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Coleshill. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems, and ancillary equipment across the facility. This role is critical to supporting production and site operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing networks, and ancillary equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical circuits, control panels, pumps, valves, and other facility infrastructure.
  • Maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
  • Support HVAC, compressed air, and other site utilities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for specialist repairs or installations.
  • Provide technical support during facility upgrades or equipment installations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (desirable).
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and general building maintenance.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, compressed air systems, and ancillary equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
