Location: West Midlands, Wolverhampton

Rate: £38.29 Per hour Umbrella PAYE

Salary equivalent: £57.5k per Annum

Shift: Double Day Shift (Earlies/lates)

Hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, Weekend Overtime Available paid at premium rate

We are looking for an experienced CMM Technician to provide dimensional inspection and measurement support across machining and assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and operate Zeiss CMM (Calypso) and GOM Scanbox equipment.
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Analyse measurement data and produce inspection reports using Zeiss metrology software.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD T, and specifications.
  • Support process investigations, supplier validation, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain inspection equipment, records, and measurement programmes.

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship-trained or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering background.
  • Experience programming Zeiss Calypso CMMs.
  • Strong metrology knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings/GD T.
  • Proficient with metrology software, CAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
