We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovative organisation based in Bicester to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 6-month temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to make a real impact within a dynamic team.

The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will support the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in month-end and year-end processes. You will work within a collaborative team environment where your contribution will be valued from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing cash postings accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining and managing the sales ledger
  • Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with auditors as required
  • Posting month-end journals
  • Performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across the ledgers
  • Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and reporting as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management accounts or finance support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the confident use of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative team ethos
