Electrical Avionics Engineer - Multiple levels required£45,000 - £90,000 baseLocation: Camberley, UK (Remote options could be available)Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid work OverviewWe are seeking a Part 21 Electrical / Avionics Engineer to support the design and certification of large aircraft modifications. You will join a growing, high-performing team focused on delivering innovative solutions for airline customers. This role offers strong opportunities for technical development, professional growth, and involvement in end-to-end modification projects within an approved EASA Part 21J Design Organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with the Electrical/Avionics Engineering Manager and a distributed global engineering team to identify requirements and deliver effective technical solutions for current and upcoming aircraft modification programmes.- Contribute to design activities ensuring compliance with design requirements, certification standards, and integration needs related to electrical and avionics systems.- Support certification activities to ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness regulations.- Produce high-quality engineering documentation, including:- Wiring diagrams- Wiring installation and harness fabrication drawings- Service Bulletins and accomplishment instructions- Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and relevant manual supplements- EWIS assessments- Prepare certification and compliance documents such as:- Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)- System Safety, Equipment Qualification, and EWIS documentation- Compliance checklists and compliance statements- Test plans, test reports, and certification programmes- Represent the organisation during key customer milestone meetings (e.g., ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI).- Provide on-site technical support during aircraft embodiment phases.Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.- 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.Required Skills & Experience- Experience working within an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.- Basic working knowledge of electrical/avionics-related airworthiness and regulatory requirements, including CS-25, JAR-25, FAR-25, and E/TSO.- Experience with aircraft interior modification programmes is advantageous.- Exceptional attention to detail and strong professional integrity.- Ability to work across multiple concurrent programmes with varying requirements.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands.- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style aligned with values such as honesty, integrity, and transparency.About YouYou are proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
