About the Role
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a passion for aerospace innovation, airworthiness compliance, and high-integrity engineering standards? We’re seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to join a cutting-edge aerospace organisation working on next-generation aircraft systems. You will play a key role in Type Certification (TC), design assurance, and manufacturing quality. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to complex aerospace programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Type Certification (TC) and regulatory compliance activities across aerospace development programmes
- Ensure adherence to AS9100 quality management systems and aerospace industry standards
- Act as a key quality interface between design engineering, manufacturing, and test teams
- Conduct and support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and APQP / product assurance processes
- Plan and execute internal and supplier quality audits
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs
About You
- Degree or strong background in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline (essential)
- 2+ years’ experience in aerospace quality engineering or manufacturing quality
- Strong understanding of CAA / EASA / FAA regulations and airworthiness requirements
- Hands-on experience with AS9100, FAIRs, audits, and quality systems
- Familiarity with Type Certification or product certification processes (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive, improvement-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary engineering teams
