Client Summary: A leading, well recognised global manufacturer of Agricultural machinery
Key Duties:
- Carry out finished tractor quality audits to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.
- Inspect completed products, identifying defects, non-conformances and deviations from specification.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate audit findings and provide timely updates on quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Support root cause investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at preventing recurring quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, audit documentation and key performance indicator (KPI) records.
- Participate in product quality planning activities to ensure customer requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support new product introduction activities by identifying and helping resolve potential quality concerns.
- Use a variety of inspection tools and quality standards to assess finished products accurately.
- Represent the Basildon manufacturing facility during customer and dealer visits across the UK and internationally when required.
Person Profile / Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and manufacturing standards.
- Ability to identify defects, inspection errors and quality concerns with a high level of accuracy.
- Good understanding of critical, major and minor quality characteristics.
- Experience using inspection equipment and carrying out product audits.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to support root cause analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple departments.
- Computer literate with experience maintaining quality documentation and reports.
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently or as part of a small team.
- A proactive approach with a strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Quality-related qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
