Quality Inspector (Paint) in Basildon

Job title: Quality Inspector (CPI Auditor) Job location: Basildon Rate: £18.52ph £37,558.56 per annum Hours per week: 39 (6:45am Starts) Duration: 6 months Start date: ASAP Client Summary: Working for CNH Industrial - a major manufacturer of Agricultural Vehicles and Machinery. Based out of the Basildon Manufacturing Plant. Position Summary: This role is responsible for Inspecting the finished product for defects and deviations in paint work. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for the finished product, and recommend necessary corrective actions. There is potential for this role to be moved to the lates shift working between 14:45 - 23:45. The timeline for this is not confirmed so work will be initially on the early shift. Work on the late shift will come with an uplift of 25% to base rate. Roles can include: * Working from a Tablet to perform quality inspections on finished products. * Working within a set out 2 hour window per tractor. * Perform finished tractor quality audits, ensuring that the product meets the expected quality requirements. * Discuss and resolve product quality issues raised during and after the inspection * Prepare and update all necessary quality reports via Tablet Person Profile/Experience: Ideally has worked with paint quality before High attention to detail Excellent communication skills Experience working to instructions - following set out procedures Experience working to quality guidelines Flexibility to work early and late shifts as needed
