Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:15pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly & Test Technician on behalf of my client, a leading organisation in the aerospace sector based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, contributing to the precision assembly and testing of flight-critical components.

Key Responsibilities
*Assembly and test of flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy
*Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts
*Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals
*Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators
Key Skills
*Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification), ideally within Mechanical Engineering
*Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role is essential, ideally within aerospace or related industries
*Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing processes
*Competent in reading and following different set procedures
*Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable
*Dynamic and proactive attitude
