✨ Assembly & Test Technician
📍 Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
🕒 Schedule: Nights
💰 Nights £44,482 (inc shift)
Are you the kind of person who loves building things, tinkering with tools, and making sure everything runs just right? Do you get a kick out of solving puzzles, following instructions to the letter, and producing work so good it makes the inspectors smile? Then this might just be the role for you!
My client is on the lookout for an Assembly and Test Technician to join their friendly team at their cutting-edge manufacturing facility in the aviation industry.
In this role, you’ll get to:
🔧 Clean, build, and test high-quality products.
🕵️ Run diagnostic tests to find sneaky faults.
🛠️ Disassemble and rework parts like a pro.
🌊 Perform flow-matching operations (sounds cool, right?).
✍️ Add the finishing touches like wire locking, labelling, and more.
This isn’t just any technician role. It’s a stamp holder position. That means your work has to be top notch and inspection ready. Think of yourself as the final seal of approval before products take flight!
Night Owl Schedule 4 Nights
Monday to Wednesday 9.30pm – 7.30am
Thursday – 10.00pm – 7.30am
🛠️ What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a similar production role (Aerospace or equivalent).
- Comfortable with hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
- Engineering apprenticeship (or lots of hands-on experience).
- Solid diagnostic skills + understanding of basic servo valve operations.
- A background as a stamp holder (or proven self-inspection skills).
- Able to follow approved documentation and record data accurately.
- Bonus points if you know your way around 5S principles (don’t worry training available if not).
