Shorterm Group are currently looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator to join an established engineering company based in South Oxfordshire.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A time-served apprenticeship would be preferred, although not essential
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience programming and operating 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC machines
- Must be proficient with Heidenhain controls; experience with Fanuc controls would be advantageous
- Ability to take responsibility for your own quality inspections, including the use of MTE and completion of quality reports
- Previous experience working with Doosan, Matsuura, and Mazak machines
- Experience within the Medical, Semiconductor, Nuclear, or Scientific industries would be beneficial, but not essential
