Role: TIG Welder / Fabricator Location: Heanor Pay rate: £19 per hour PAYE Hours: 40 Contract type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Company Summary A specialist engineering company based in Heanor is looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join its team permanently. The role will focus on stainless-steel welding, process pipework and general fabrication. Key Duties Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel. Fabricate and assemble process pipework. Complete cutting, grinding, preparation and general fabrication duties. Work accurately from engineering drawings and job instructions. Ensure all work meets the required quality and safety standards. Inspect completed welds and correct any defects where necessary. Person Profile and Experience Previous experience in stainless-steel TIG welding is essential. Experience with process pipework and fabrication is required. Ability to produce clean, consistent welds to a high standard. Confident working from engineering drawings. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach. Qualifications An apprenticeship, City Guilds qualification or NVQ Level 2/3 in Fabrication and Welding would be preferred.
