An exciting opportunity has arisen within our business for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Mech/Elec) to be based at our Crewe Maintenance Facility. Reporting to the Shift Team Leader / Production Manager, the successful applicant will join the Maintenance and Repairs Team at our Depot in Crewe and will assist with the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our busy Freight Locomotive Fleet. Working as part of a busy team, you will operate on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern in undertaking planned maintenance and repair of our locomotives coming in for major repairs, maintenance and overhaul Working days and nights (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) start and finish times are 7 till 7 averaging a 39-hour week over the course of the year Immediate and/or flexible starts for interested parties Starting salary: Over £47k pa plus overtime at enhanced rates, easily advancing £52k pa Opportunities to earn up to £1500.00 per unit for accomplishing up to 9 technical modules Excellent Benefits Package Key Responsibilities include: Ensure that company engineering standards and procedures are applied and followed, under the post holder's area of control to ensure that the traction and rolling stock meet the provisions of statutory Railway Group Standards and Codes of Practice.
