The job holder will: Support the day-to-day activities within the Safety Office Assess the product safety impact of operational changes (eg work transfer or relocation of plant/equipment) Develop & implement root cause corrective action plans and control plans Assist SMS and Human Factors training development and delivery of training Programmes Assess the effectiveness of SMS training and safety promotion Analyse results of safety data to improve the organisations Safety Management System (SMS), including Governance of SPIs & escalation of performance issues Create and maintain a Hazard Log Register Conduct Risk assessments and influence mitigation processes Conduct internal safety investigation CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes. Candidates must: Possess a minimum of a HNC in an Engineering discipline and have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience within Quality, Engineering, Operations Engineering/Methods/Manufacturing or Operations. Good understanding of QMS and Regulatory requirements and Company approvals. Have an awareness of SMS principles Good analytical and problem-solving skills An understanding of risk management processes and how to identify and manage hazards DESIREABLE EXPERIENCE An appreciation for human and organisational influences Awareness of change management processes and the hazards presented by change Applications must be completed and submitted by 4.00pm on 26th Wednesday August 2026.
