About the Company

Shoreline Vehicle Design builds bespoke, luxury vehicles (Land Rover Defenders and Porsche 911 backdate models), combining modern craftsmanship with classic design. We are growing rapidly and seeking a senior professional to manage operations, people, and projects across the UK and internationally.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable General Manager to work closely with the founder and senior leadership team. This role will oversee day-to-day operations, drive strategic projects, and ensure the smooth coordination of our people, partners, and customers. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customers, customer relationships and escalations
  • Act as a senior advisor and operational partner to the founder and leadership team
  • Oversee financial management including budgets, reporting, and forecasts
  • Manage teams across workshops, operations, and customer services
  • Lead key projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers
  • Coordinate logistics, international shipping, and supplier negotiations
  • Support business development and customer experience initiatives
  • Represent Shoreline Vehicle Design at events, meetings, and partner visits

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a senior management or Chief of Staff / GM role
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills in a demanding environment
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred – alternatively, experience in similar industries focused on luxury custom goods is a bonus
  • Proven ability to manage finances, teams, and operational projects
  • Comfortable working remotely with flexible hours
  • Willingness to travel regularly in the UK and internationally
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
