ABA Therapy Tutor – Maternity Cover (October 2026 start)
Join our team as an ABA Therapy Tutor.
Salary: £23,549 per annum for 32.5 hours per week, term time only.
About the Role
As a dedicated ABA Therapy Tutor, you will act as the pupil's primary educator and programme lead, effectively becoming his “class teacher in a class of one.” While the pupil will remain based within his current class, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and developing his personalised ABA programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality ABA teaching and intervention.
- Take responsibility for the pupil’s programme implementation and development.
- Manage all programme data, records, paperwork and reporting.
- Implement and monitor Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
- Track progress through accurate data collection and analysis.
- Act as the key point of contact for the pupil’s family and external professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to ensure consistent support and outcomes.
Support and Development
- Weekly supervision with an on‑site BCBA.
- Ongoing professional guidance and mentoring.
- Opportunities for career progression within ABA practice.
- BCBA supervision opportunities for candidates wishing to work towards BCBA qualification.
About You
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confident working independently while remaining part of a wider team.
- Experience in ABA, ideally with older pupils.
- Committed to professional development and evidence‑based practice.
