We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly committed Class Teacher with a strong commitment to championing inclusive practice to join our Preparing for Life pathway at Market Field College, a specialist provision for students aged 16-19 with Special Educational Needs.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing, communication‑rich and highly structured learning environment, adapting provision responsively to meet the complex and evolving needs of the cohort.
- Act as the form tutor, providing pastoral care, monitoring progress and supporting EHCP outcomes in partnership with families and a range of professionals.
- Deliver teaching in a therapeutic, relational approach to behaviour, where positive relationships and emotional safety underpin all aspects of learning.
- Maintain a clear understanding of safeguarding and apply safeguarding principles consistently.
Qualifications
- Commitment to inclusive practice and effective communication with learners who have diverse needs.
- Experience or strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
