Harlow College is seeking to appoint a Teacher – Health Science – Dental Nursing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to play a key role in preparing, planning, delivering, and assessing learning on our Oral Health Practitioner apprenticeship programme, starting in October 2025. This is a new programme, and you will be instrumental in shaping future dental nurses.
The successful candidate will be expected to use a range of effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate learners, address individual learning needs, overcome barriers, and promote autonomous learning.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Registered Dental Nurse, Level 3 or above
- Recent teaching or training experience in Dental Nursing
- Teacher trained or willing to achieve a Level 4 or above teaching qualification within the first year
- TAQA/CAVA (A1 or V1 or equivalent)
- GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or 4 and above or equivalent
- Creative problem-solving skills
