The King John School is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to deliver a high-quality phonics programme and support students with literacy needs.

This part-time, permanent role (37 hours per week; Monday-Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm; term-time only) starts September 2026 and operates within Scale 5.

Experience in literacy difficulties is preferred; training will be provided to support phonics interventions and access to the wider curriculum.
