Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery is delighted to invite you to apply to join our fantastic team as a nursery practitioner. If you have a Level 2 Child Care Qualification, we will support training to achieve Level 3. We have a recently-built Β£800,000 building which provides a wonderful enabling environment for our children, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and creative person to work with our 2 - 4-year-olds.
As a nursery nurse/practitioner, you will support the room leader in the planning and delivery of the EYFS framework, creating a stimulating and rich learning environment to support the development needs of all our pupils. You will act as a key worker for a group of children and work as part of a team to ensure our nursery becomes a hub at the heart of our community. You will be supported by an excellent group of nursery practitioners and senior leaders from the school and will have opportunities to establish positive relationships with school leaders to ensure that the vision and ethos of Prince Avenue is shared across this wonderful setting. You will work closely with our SEND and care team to support families within our community.
This is a term time only position which supports a positive work life balance and is well suited to those with children. We are committed to the wellbeing of our staff and students. The post is for a fixed term to cover the absence of the substantive postholder on Maternity Leave.
