The CEO of SECAT is seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant for the Autism Resource Base (ARB) at Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery. We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our Autism Resource Base (ARB) team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils with special educational needs during the lunchtime period, helping to ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to pupils with special educational needs during lunchtime.
- Ensure a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEND children (particularly in Early Years or Key Stage 1).
- Qualification in First Aid desired.
Thorpedene is a very successful Primary School and a member of the SECAT Academy Trust. It is a large school educating and caring for approx. 500 children and 90 employees. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
