Full‑time Pastoral Support Coordinator to support the pastoral team in maintaining high standards of behaviour, punctuality and engagement across the academy. The role ensures students are in the right place at the right time, supports positive learning behaviours, and intervenes where students require additional pastoral support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: GCSE Maths and English at grade C (or grade 4) or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
  • Desirable: TA qualification, qualification in childcare or Level 3 qualifications.

Personal Qualities

  • Hardworking, enthusiastic, dedicated commitment and ability to focus on fostering teaching, learning and personal development of Year 7 to 13 students.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will be in accordance with the Pastoral Support Coordinator job description.

Remuneration and Working Time

  • Term‑time only position: 37 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, including INSET days.
  • Working hours 08:00‑16:00 Monday‑Thursday; 08:00‑15:30 Friday with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day.
  • Salary up to £30,025 per annum (Band 3, Points 17‑25); actual term‑time salary £21,344 per annum including holiday pay allowance.
