Our friendly and nurturing Infant School is looking for a caring, confident and skilled HLTA to join our dedicated team. We are proud of our warm, community feel and are seeking someone who shares our belief that every child deserves the very best start in life.
Responsibilities:
- Lead whole‑class learning confidently in the absence of the class teacher
- Support high‑quality teaching and learning across EYFS and KS1
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families
- Bring creativity, enthusiasm and a commitment to inclusive practice
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

West Leigh Infant School is a maintained school with a 4 form entry, located in Leigh‑on‑Sea. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
