Little Waltham Church of England VA Primary School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Lower Key Stage 2 team. Located in the picturesque village of Little Waltham, our school is known for its welcoming environment, rooted in our Christian values – Compassion, Courage, Forgiveness, and Perseverance – which guide our approach to education and nurture each child’s potential and character.

About the Role

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic and caring LSA who will work full‑time within one of our Lower Key Stage 2 classes, supporting pupils to become confident, successful, and independent learners. You will play a vital role in helping children access the curriculum, develop strong learning behaviours, and flourish as part of our school community. This position is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference to children’s learning and wellbeing, and who enjoys working as part of a supportive and forward‑thinking team.

Contract Details

  • Contract: Fixed term until the end of the academic year (July 2026)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, term‑time only, 8:35 am – 3:15 pm
  • Salary: £25,583 FTE; actual salary £17,017 (pro‑rata)
  • Start date: as soon as possible, negotiable
