We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous cleaner to join our hardworking team at Blackmore Primary School. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our classrooms, toilets and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning desks, dusting, hoovering and mopping classroom areas
- Cleaning toilets and ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies
- Maintaining the cleanliness of other public spaces
- Replenishing supplies of blue paper towels, toilet rolls, and tissues
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role is preferred, but not essential
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the school
What We Offer
- Salary: Scale 1, point 2 (Β£13.03 per hour) including outer fringe allowance
- 38 paid weeks. Actual salary Β£4,535.30 per annum including 5.5 weeks holiday pay.
- Contract: 8 hours per week, term-time contract with the opportunity to work additional hours during the summer holiday for our deep clean.
- Afternoon sessions from 3.30pm to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 3.00pm to 5pm on Friday would possibly consider early mornings for the right applicant.
