Scale 7 point 19 (Range 19-24) – Actual salary Β£26,629.84

We are looking for an enthusiastic HLTA to support the Assistant Head – Inclusion and SENDCo in the provision for students. With a focus on intervention, the successful candidate will act as a key worker for identified students and will help plan, prepare and deliver activities for individuals, and monitor and report on students\’ achievement, progress and development.

Information about the School

St Martin\’s is a large co-educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi-rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. The school, which also includes a large sixth form block, is situated on an open, attractive 30 acre site. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, which is easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).

This is a large, but friendly school in which all staff are helped to develop their talents. This is supported by an extensive and wide ranging in-house continual professional development programme (CPD). We have high quality mentoring and induction programmes for staff with excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
