Lift Plumberow is looking for a PE Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical activity and supporting children’s development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and positive individual who can contribute to our warm and inclusive school community while helping pupils develop confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of PE lessons, sports activities and enrichment opportunities
  • Encourage pupils’ participation, confidence and teamwork through positive sporting experiences
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour and inclusion
  • Support pupils with SEND or additional needs to access physical activities successfully
  • Help organise and support sporting events, clubs, tournaments and competitions
  • Promote positive relationships and consistently apply the school’s behaviour policy
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and physical wellbeing
  • Assist with the safe use and organisation of PE and sports equipment
