We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The successful candidate will become part of our friendly and hard-working team which is dedicated to ensuring our children learn well and are well cared for. The role will involve working with children individually, in small groups and in classes, including teaching some classes when teachers have release time. The role also has an important pastoral element which involves providing a "listening ear" and some support to children that are finding some emotions and life experiences a challenge.
We want the very best for all our children and we place them at the centre of all that we do. Recently, we had a very positive Ofsted the outcomes of which reflect our team and family ethic and the high standards we have for the children and for ourselves. Ours is a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and ten minutes from Clacton. We are an academy with the Vine Schools Trust and so have the support of the trust and of the diocese. We also have training and other support in place for the successful applicant.

Information about the School: We are a primary school in a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and 10 mins from Clacton-on-Sea. We are an academy with the Vines School Trust and so have the support of this trust and the Diocese. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
