The Role:

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA (or an experienced LSA who is prepared to undertake HLTA training) to join our team to support, inspire and engage children at Gosbecks Primary School to \’be the best you can be.\’

You will need to:

– be educated to GCSE A-C (or equivalent) or above in English and Maths

– deliver lessons that are planned by and with the class teacher

– support teachers and work with groups of children

– be a flexible, organised and enthusiastic team player

– have an excellent rapport with children

– have an ability to show initiative and work independently

– be prepared to work across the school supporting classes and groups

– Work within a school committed to trauma perceptive practice

– a commitment to raising standards and helping children to be \’the best you can be\’

This post is currently fixed term initially for a year, although there may be opportunity for this to be extended.

Gosbecks Primary school is a popular school located in Colchester. We have encouraging parents, established links within the community and a supportive Governing Body.

The post is for term time plus one week (inset days). We can offer visits to the school and are happy to talk through any questions you may have. Please contact the school office in September on 01206 575 407 between 8am & 4pm for any queries.
