We are seeking an exceptional Head of Additional Learning Support and Inclusion. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced SEND professional who is passionate about ensuring every learner can access, participate in and succeed at USP College, regardless of need, disability or background.
The Role
- Lead the development of Additional Learning Support and inclusive practice across the College.
- Drive excellence in SEND provision, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and sector regulations.
- Oversee High Needs Funding, EHCP processes and exam access arrangements.
- Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, families, schools and external agencies.
- Act as a key advocate for inclusion, ensuring SEND remains a shared responsibility across all curriculum and support areas.
About You
- Significant experience managing ALS or SEND teams within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, High Needs Funding and Local Authority processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Certificate in Psychometric Testing, Assessment and Access Arrangements (or equivalent).
