Overview

Elsenham Church of England Primary School is a two-form entry school, in the centre of a large village. The school has a calm and happy atmosphere in which children thrive. The school motto "everyone is someone in our church school community, becoming learners for life, ready to make a difference" reflects all that is done in the school community so that all children are included and valued enabling them to achieve their best. Due to the retirement of the current Headteacher, the Governors are looking for an experienced leader and passionate educator, who can promote the Christian vision of the school, to continue the excellent work of the outgoing headteacher.

  • Will lead in producing a broad, balanced and inspiring curriculum for all children, irrespective of their ability.

  • Has a commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and staff
  • Has excellent interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills to build relationships across the school and the wider community
  • Will engage with partnerships with the local schools.
