- Purpose
We are seeking an HLTA who is committed to providing and achieving excellence for all children and has a strong presence within the classroom.
An exceptional individual will be able to cover classes/PPA across the school and assist with preparing and planning lessons as required.
We welcome applications from qualified teachers or those with an HLTA qualification or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and learning: Deliver and adapt learning activities to support pupil progress.
- Assessment: Monitor progress and provide clear feedback.
- Classroom management: Maintain a positive, well‑managed learning environment.
- Pupil support: Promote independence, inclusion and engagement.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with staff and support Learning Assistants.
- Communication: Contribute to communication with parents and professionals.
- Compliance: Follow safeguarding, health & safety and confidentiality requirements.
