Hours: 13 hours per week; Thursday & Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm; 38 weeks of the year (term time plus inset days)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate student integration by collaborating with teachers, peers, and families to support inclusion in academic and social settings.
- Adapt and deliver learning support, modifying lessons, materials, and resources to meet individual needs, including the use of BSL and transcription.
- Provide in‑class and extracurricular assistance during lessons, assessments, trips, performances, and lunchtime activities.
- Monitor progress and plan strategies, assessing learning needs, maintaining records, and contributing to planning effective support interventions.
- Engage in professional collaboration by participating in reviews, meetings, and training while maintaining confidentiality and promoting best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum BSL Level 2 qualification or use BSL as first or primary language.
