West Thurrock Academy invites qualified teaching support staff to join our dedicated SEND Team.
In this part‑time, permanent contract role you will provide high quality support to pupils with additional needs during term time plus two days for INSET, from 8:30 a. m. to 3:45 p. m., Monday to Friday.

- Is confident and able to work with pupils with challenging needs, including social and emotional challenges.
- Has a good understanding of how to support children with pastoral needs.
- Supports pupils in small groups and in 1:1 settings.
- Works well as part of a team and is committed to improving and developing their own practice.
- Is an effective communicator with pupils and staff.
- Possesses good literacy and numeracy skills.
