Contract Details

: Part time – Term time only plus 2 days for INSET – 8:30am to 3:45pm Monday to Friday. Fixed‑term contract linked to a Year 1 named child.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a 1:1 School Support Assistant, providing tailored support to a pupil with medical needs in Year 1.

This is a vital role in supporting the learning and well‑being of a child with specific medical requirements within a nurturing and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 assistance to a named pupil with medical needs, ensuring their safety, well‑being, and full access to the curriculum.
  • Administer medical care and respond to medical situations as per the child’s care plan (training provided).
  • Support the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external health professionals.
  • Keep accurate records of care and progress.
