Due to expansion, we are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic and experienced LSA/Sports Coach to join our wonderful, growing school. The role will entail supporting pupils in Maths and English and delivering P.E. lessons and extra-curricular clubs.
Responsibilities and expectations include:
- Inspiring pupils with an energetic and passionate approach to learning in the classroom and during PE lessons and clubs.
- Encouraging pupils as independent learners and supporting them to work effectively with others.
- Improving pupils' performance and setting high expectations.
- Establishing productive working relationships with pupils and staff.
- Providing support academically and pastorally.
- Demonstrating outstanding classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning experience.
- Being a team player who engages with pupils and school staff professionally and enthusiastically.
- Presents smartly and manages time efficiently.
- Holding a sport-related qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Having knowledge and understanding of the primary P.E Curriculum.
- Having experience delivering PE lessons in a primary school or coaching sports outside school.
- Having GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (A*-C/9-4).
