We require a one-to-one learning assistant who is reliable, competent and caring to provide one-to-one support for children with complex additional needs in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. The role is for a full-time candidate with recent successful experience of working with children with Autism, Behaviour, Medical and Personal needs. The position is initially for a fixed term until July 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a pupil or pupils on an individual basis in the school setting.
  • Be adaptable, well organised and an effective team player.
  • Where necessary work with groups of children.
  • Provide good English and Maths skills to GCSE or equivalent level, and possible relevant LA and/or EYFS training qualifications.
  • Have good communication skills, patience and motivation to encourage pupils to achieve their best.
  • Undertake additional training to support medical and personal needs.

Qualifications:

  • Recent successful experience of working with children with Autism, Behaviour, Medical and Personal needs.
