St. Teresa's Catholic Primary School is seeking an experienced and committed Year 6 Teacher to join our team for the Autumn Term 2026. This one-term post offers an excellent opportunity to support our hardworking pupils as they start their year 6 journey. This is a full-time post.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is an excellent, experienced classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners
- Has a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, including early preparation for transition and SATs
- Can support pupils' wellbeing, confidence and readiness for secondary school
- Works effectively as part of a dedicated, supportive staff team
- Is highly organised, proactive and able to create a purposeful and nurturing learning environment
- Is supportive of the Catholic ethos and values of our school
