About the Role

Are you passionate about creating high-quality childcare environments and leading teams to deliver outstanding experiences for children? We are looking for a Wraparound Operations Manager to lead and grow our wraparound provision across multiple school settings. This is a leadership role, responsible for overseeing multiple sites, developing teams, ensuring Ofsted-ready standards, and driving performance and growth across the programme. This role offers a clear pathway into a senior leadership position as EPC continues to grow its wraparound provision from 4 - 10 wraparound provisions over the next 5 years.

Your Mission

To lead and oversee EPC's wraparound provision, ensuring safe, engaging and high-quality environments where every child feels included, supported and inspired - while driving consistency, performance and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership, Recruitment & Training
    • Lead, manage and develop Wraparound Settings Leads across multiple sites
    • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of all team members
    • Deliver and oversee staff training, onboarding and CPD programmes
    • Conduct regular 1:1s, site visits and performance reviews
    • Build strong, confident teams that deliver consistently high standards
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure all settings are safe, compliant and Ofsted-ready at all times
    • Oversee safeguarding, ratios, registers and incident reporting
    • Lead CQI / mock Ofsted checks across all sites
    • Maintain and review policies, procedures and risk assessments
  • Operations & Performance
    • Oversee day-to-day delivery across all wraparound settings
    • Ensure consistency in session structure, quality and organization
    • Monitor performance including attendance, staffing and efficiency
    • Track and report on KPIs across the programme
    • Ensure each setting operates at a sustainable and profitable level
  • Growth & Expansion
    • Support the launch of new wraparound settings
    • Work with the Business Development Manager to grow provision
    • Identify opportunities to increase attendance and improve experience
    • Support marketing and parent engagement to drive occupancy
  • Parent & School Relationships
    • Build strong relationships with school partners
    • Lead termly review meetings with schools
    • Ensure high-quality communication with parents
    • Manage escalations and continuously improve customer experience

What a Typical Week Looks Like

  • Visiting multiple settings (approximately 4 per week)
  • Leading and developing the Settings Leads
  • Managing recruitment and onboarding
  • Driving performance and reviewing KPIs
  • Planning training and supporting growth of the provision
