We require an experienced teacher for two days per week (Monday & Tuesday), initially fixed term contract for an Academic year, to work at Cherry Tree Academy in Colchester from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high quality curriculum that is exciting, vibrant and promotes a love of learning for children aged 4-11 years old.
- Support the school’s Thrive Approach to nurture confidence, resilience, communication and emotional wellbeing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of high expectations for both academic achievement and personal and social development.
- Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of children and support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promotion of children’s safety, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
Qualifications
- Experienced teacher, suitable for Class Teacher Key Stage 1 or 2 roles.
- Suitable DBS check, medical clearance and satisfactory references.
- All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements.
