- Lead a team of Midday Assistants ensuring safety, welfare and good conduct during the lunch break
- Supervise children in the lunch hall and play areas
- Encourage imaginative play outside (and indoors when it rains)
- Ensure the good behaviour of pupils
- Enforce the necessary sanctions for maintaining good order
- Use initiative while working as part of a team
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Be fair, caring and have a sense of humour
