We are seeking to appoint an exceptional, strategic and highly-motivated Senior Inclusion Lead with QTS who is passionate about ensuring every child receives the support, provision and opportunities they need in order to thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified professional to join our Leadership Team and play a central role in shaping inclusive practice across the School. We are looking for someone with the vision, expertise and determination to improve outcomes, champion inclusion and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning for all pupils. The successful candidate will be a skilled practitioner and strategic leader, committed to ensuring that all children are valued, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for inclusion across the School
  • Play a central role in shaping and driving the School's vision for inclusion, ensuring equitable access, participation and achievement for all pupils
  • Work directly with pupils exhibiting challenging behaviour, including those with complex needs
  • Lead on the identification, assessment, planning, provision and review of targeted support across the School
  • Monitor, evaluate and review the impact of behaviour interventions, using data, evidence and pupil outcomes to inform next steps
  • Work in partnership with families, valuing their insights and ensuring that pupil and parent voice are central to decision‑making
  • Liaise effectively with external agencies, including educational psychologists, therapists, health professionals and local authority services to secure the best possible outcomes for pupils
  • Model and promote outstanding inclusive teaching practice, supporting staff through coaching, training and guidance
  • Support teachers in adapting teaching and learning to meet the needs of all learners
  • Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team, particularly around school improvement priorities
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, empathy, belonging and high expectations for every child
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, resilient and reflective leadership style, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Have significant experience of working with a wide range of children, including those with complex needs
  • Have a secure understanding of assessment, intervention and progress monitoring for all pupils
  • Have high aspirations for themselves and others
