A qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner with strong experience within Early Years, confident to step into a Room Management role. Roles & Responsibilities (Duties):
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Safely open and close the nursery building, on a shift pattern.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage daily activities and routines while ensuring the well-being of all children in your care.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote a collaborative atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting learning strategies as necessary.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery.
Qualifications:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
- Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the drive to inspire young learners.
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
