We are currently looking to appoint a hard-working and reliable cleaner to our cleaning department at the Basildon Academies. The appointed cleaner will be contracted to the Lower academy.
Salary Range: National Minimum Wage
Working Hours: 15:45-18:45, Monday-Friday
Additional weeks may be available during the school holidays for deep cleans and summer school. There also may be additional hours available to cover absences within the cleaning team.
The successful candidate will be:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have the ability to work both alone and in a team
- Someone with a good eye for detail who takes pride in their work
- Have a good level of fitness due to the nature of the role
- Have an awareness of Health & Safety procedures
Duties will include: cleaning a specified area of the school to a high standard, performing periodical checks, and ensuring that relevant school policies and procedures are adhered to.
