We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Class Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team at Leigh Beck Junior School. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils make strong progress and achieve their full potential. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil achievement
  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies

  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
