Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate experience of delivering individualized, flexible support to students with SEMH needs, planned around the students' interests across the curriculum either in KS2 or KS3.
  • Show an excellent understanding of how to remove barriers to learning by adjusting activities according to students' responses or individual needs, as appropriate.
  • Show knowledge and understanding of attachment theory and Trauma Perceptive Practice or a willingness to learn about these areas.
  • Establish rapport and respectful, trusting relationships with students, their families and other adults.
